1984
It is a dystopian novel written by George Orwell and published in 1949, which showcases the life of Winston Smith in a totalitarian world.
Perhaps the most powerful, effective, and frightening notion of 1984 is that it is perfectly possible to fully control an entire nation under a totalitarian state. When the world falls under the rule of one or even several rulers, the future could easily become a warped, inhuman world in which every action, expression, and breath is scrutinized by an incorporeal, omnipresent force which no one can stop or even oppose without fear of death.
Orwell explores themes of mass media control and government oppression and surveillance on the people. It correctly displays where we as a human race and humanity are heading and what power can do in a perfect dystopian sense. It’s a warning to the human race
